Being motivated is a huge problem as most people know what they have to do but they are hampered by their brains inability to organize effectively and get things on the right track to get things done.

Some of the best tips I can recommend are as follows,

Firstly to be more organized you have to have an idea of where you intend to be, and on what end goals you would like to achieve, it’s ok to dream at this stage as your ambitions should shine through and be part of this process as they give you something to aspire to and a goal to accomplish, I myself always organize things into lists and then can get things done far quicker than without them, I make these lists usually into three priority lists.

One for things that need to be done straight away so that would be my number one list, the second would be the not to urgent but so long as I get it done by the end of the week kind of list, and then last of all the third list are things I need to bring the other two lists together so I can see the long term goals I have already established and then can therefore measure what I’m doing and how good I am at it.

You will find your own way of organizing these things, as nothing is set in stone as you find your own way of working, but to prioritize is to organize effectively and start bringing results on all of your projects.

Another way of motivating yourself is to have a couple of notes printed out and stuck on your wall, giving you reminders of the work that you do regularly and also just to keep you on track, you may have a simple bullet point list of the steps you must follow in your daily working routine, I myself have two notes on my wall to remind me of the days ahead and they keep me focused on my objectives for the day, so never lose site of your objectives, what you hope to achieve in a day can be duplicated over and over again.

Believe it or not a tidy work space can have a positive effect on your state of mind and bring out good results in your overall performance in whatever work that you do, keeping simple things organized can really help such as filing documents away and storing all stationery so that you can find it really makes your work more productive and can reduce stress too.

Also make time to implement routine tasks that need your attention especially with your computer, regular scans and checks on your disk space are all things that should be planned and executed on a daily or weekly basis whatever your situation.
