“There is in every true woman’s heart, a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity.”
-Washington Irving
It’s not simply the existence of women that makes the world go round. It’s not simply why they are named differently from the male species but because women makes this world look much more beautiful. They make it a lovelier place and a livelier one even during the dullest moments. Imagine a home, a society, a world, without women! Imagine the non-existence of soft spoken words and giggles, or the hugs and prayers of a dear woman in the family!
Somebody wrote “The heart of a woman is what makes the world spin!
Women do more than just give birth. They bring joy and hope” I think women do a lot more than one imagines. I also think they have some kind of special strength in them that is not often recognized but that, which comes out to light during the most trivial hours. They also have some beauty of a rare kind that words can merely do justice. Women are power giants. They can even turn even the ugliest building into a loving home. They can touch a man’s heart without trying. They can stop a baby from crying when men could try all possibilities and never quite succeed. They can make workplaces a brighter one.
Women may seem incapable of taking in tragedies but they are the ones who actually feel the most for losses of dear ones. Their hearts even melt at the saddest news of people not actually related to them. This is what makes them even more beautiful. They feel, really feel. They are soft-hearted. Most of them anyway. They will treat a sick one with utmost care. They will look after the aged with love. They will visit you just to make you feel special. They will go the distance if only to show how much they love you. They will bring so much happiness than you can actually dream of. They will write just to let you know they care.
Women are special creations. They are beauty personified. Not only do they have beautiful bodies but they have beautiful hearts. They will cry for what they really loved and lost but they will continue to love. Unconditionally. Women know what it means to sacrifice something out of love. They go without new stuffs just so that their children could have them, just so that their children would have enough.
The heart of a woman is more than you can comprehend. It’s the essence of true love. It’s the consolation you need when you lose someone dear, it’s the support you crave for when you are looking for your dreams, it’s the company you need when you are lonely and sad, and it’s the joy you want to share with when you achieve something worth celebrating. A woman’s heart may be all that you need for a lifetime, for it’s more than all the wealth and riches of the world combined. It’s where home and family starts. It’s where you find good times in store. It’s where lost dreams begin anew.
Being a woman is a special feeling. And even a nicer feeling is the thought that you are here not just to show yourself to the world but that you make it a better place to live in. It’s this feeling that makes you want to love even more. Cheers to the women whose lights never fade in the dark! Cheers to the ones whose hearts have made another to believe! Happy Women’s Day!
In my twenties, that wavy age where times seem hardest, yet very adventurous too. You are not too young neither old. Deciding phases, getting serious kind of phase where Life brings you a lot of tides to ride. But i love every moment of it. I love the lovely times i can count on, even the ugliest of situations. They make me a better person. With dreams in my pocket, seeing them taking buds am gonna do all i can let them take their flight. Someday i hope to see them flowered and be happy enough that for once i did something worth celebrating. And that’s gonna be Life. M celebrating every moment of it.
I live in India, in its Capital City. I write for a weekly column for a Newspaper. I love doing it all. I love writing. I love my home town. Its a hilly place. And i wish to make a difference in my life’s journey.
