I just got a nasty comment on one of my YouTubes. Boy, I was angry. I wanted so much to reply. But I had to go off to Tae Kwon Do with my son. I was fairly seething, but I kept this to myself and had a good practice. My son and I had some good bonding time. He even said so afterwards.

A friend at Tae Kwon Do told me, when I told him about the nasty comment, that the best thing was to ignore it. What happens when you become visible, especially on the net, you receive junk - including hate mail. My friend talked about some of the hate mail one writer occasionally shares on her blog. What do you do? Well, she did print it, I managed to say. My friend still felt I should ignore the nasty comment.

And when I got back to my house and returned to my computer, I did the sensible thing and deleted the nasty comment. If the guy comments again, in the way he did before, I will ban him from my site.

I had a form on one of my sites. All I have now on that site is an opt-in form. But before, I actually had a feedback form where people could tell me what kind of frog sculpture they would like. (I sculpt frogs.) I got a lewd email. That made me angry. But then I realized, as I do about this recent event, that this means I am getting SEEN. Any feedback is good feedback, pretty much.

So that is the message here. Expect that fame, even a teensy-tinesy portion of it, can bring out the haters, those that envy you. If you become wealthy, again, you might have to face some of this. One question here is how do you feel about the haves? Are you a have-not? Are you envious of the haves? If you become a have, will others be envious of you? Something to think about and get straight in your mind on your way to wealth.

Protect yourself psychically from the haters, because they will try to pull you down - crabs in a box, pulling each other down. Feel your anger. Then let it subside. You’ve got better things to do with your life. In a way, these haters are giving you the message to become stronger and more powerful. You must have your psychic force field up. What does that mean? It means that you are in touch with your power. You are also in touch with your self-love. You love yourself, your life, and what you are trying to accomplish.

You have to love yourself before you can love others. That’s so true. I might as well say the sky is blue and trees are green in the spring. Just because it’s true, that doesn’t mean we all abide by it. We don’t, unfortunately.

Consider this article one more message in favor of you loving yourself. Please do us a favor. Love yourself. Take care of yourself. Nurture yourself in positive ways. Allow good stuff to come into your life. Only then can spread your love. This is the path to true happiness.

And when someone tries to rain on your parade, whether it is a hater cutting and pasting nasty messages on the net, or closer to home, say, your ego, hear the message, feel the feelings, delete the post, and move on. You’ve got better things to do, like, for instance, love yourself.
