Volunteerism is rewarding and fun and it pays dividends to the community in which you live. Paying it forward makes sense and in doing so, sometimes you can see the ripple affect of the changes you make. See for yourself and do something Spectacular in Your Life and do it for a Good Cause. Have you volunteered for something in your town?

If you have I say; Good stuff indeed. This is an interesting to me, as I am planning a bike ride across the United States. I believe I will be starting in San Diego and finish in Atlantic City. I want to make this ride and allow others to sell “pledges” to my ride? Like for instance all the Chapters for Special Kids, Juvenile Diabetes, etc.

My thoughts were to zig zag across the country in doing it allowing others to make part of the ride with me if they chose. Of course I am a runner not a cyclist, but if Lance Armstrong can run the NYC Marathon in under 3 hours then certainly I can cross the US by bicycle in under 30 days?

Many of my friends tell me I am nuts, but it is a very good thing to do and I have given it a lot of thought too.

I am concerned that our nation is getting lazy and fat and the revival of physical health will be very important in the future. I want to make a difference, even if it is only in my local community. You too can make a difference, I know you can.

Wont you volunteer today and do something spectacular to help others? I certainly hope this article is of interest and that is has propelled thought. The goal is simple; to help you in your quest to be the best in 2007. I thank you for reading my many articles on diverse subjects, which interest you.
