For years I have been trying to understand why it is that some people attain greatness, wealth, joy, happiness, and generally everything they pursue regardless of race, color, nationality or sex. Have you ever thought that there are people out there that are not as smart as you are and yet they have accomplished so much more? Well finally I think I have the answer. Through books and observing successful people I have finally gained some insight. Here are a few practicals to help you in your way to receiving your heart’s desire.

Mark 11:23
“I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

Ask with the intent to receive. Let’s face it we don’t receive because we don’t ask. It is not helpful to just go through life day to day just simply hoping for something better. Everything we receive starts of course with thought but must lead to us asking for it. As an entrepreneur in order for me to see success I must ask my customer or client for their business. If I don’t ask I get nothing.

Now assuming you do ask already. How do you ask? Do you ask with humility? Are you asking for things that can eventually benefit others or are you looking to fill your own needs and no one else’s? It makes no sense asking selfishly. The universe does not work in his way or won’t for long.

Believe you will receive. The passage above says not to doubt. It is of great importance that there is no doubt when asking. Regardless of how impossible something may seem, do not doubt. Have faith and visualize yourself already receiving your request. See it as the present.

Receive it. Receive it with gratitude. Be grateful as if you have already received what you have asked for. Walk and talk as though you have something to be grateful for.

The way you think has everything to do with all this. Think positive and faithful thoughts all the time. Play with this and see what happens. You may be surprised.
